Test your typing speed and accuracy in English. Every run measures your net words per minute, your characters per minute and your accuracy, and the result is yours to keep — pass a certification run and you get a verifiable certificate with its own public link.

How it works

  1. Pick a test length and a text type, then start typing — the timer begins on your first keystroke.
  2. Type the text as it appears. Mistakes you leave uncorrected count against your net speed and your accuracy.
  3. Read your result: net WPM, CPM, accuracy and consistency, with a per-key breakdown of where you lost time.

Typing in English

This language has more than one keyboard layout, and you can switch between them: Qwerty, Dvorak, Colemak.

The texts are written in English rather than translated into it, so the letter frequencies and the punctuation are the ones you actually type.
